These cookies are really delicious, the kids can gift them, or you can just make them.

If they decide to make the jars up, they add all the dry ingredients to the jar in layers and then write a label for the what needs to be added.

They can keep one for themselves in the cupboard so they know what to do!

This homemade cookie‑jar mix isn’t just a treat—it’s two activities in one. First, let the kids whip up a batch of fresh cookies (big win already!). Then refill the jar together to stash in the cupboard for next time. It’s fun, hands‑on, and gives you a ready‑to‑go activity for another day.”

• “Turn snack time into play time. Kids can make the cookies now, then help measure, scoop, and refill the jar mix to save for later. It keeps them busy, builds skills, and buys you another easy activity for a future afternoon.”

• “Parents, this is your new favourite hack. One jar mix = two moments of calm. Bake cookies today, remake the mix for the cupboard tomorrow. Simple, engaging, and delicious every time.”

I baked them at Christmas, and filmed it on video... which they can watch.. only 9 months to go!
