We used Mrs Bun for an 8th Birthday party but with a mix of ages from 5-11. Everyone had such a great time. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere with a big dose of fun. The children made cakes and decorated them. They also made bread and pizza. Everything you could possibly need was provided.
As a parent this was the easiest party as all we needed to do was turn up.
Highly recommend!
Why a Bun birthday party?
Kids love to get involved in the kitchen, and baking is one of the best ways to teach them new skills while having a blast. When you organise kids baking events, you’re not just throwing a party - you’re creating an experience. Here’s why they’re so fantastic:
Hands-on learning: Kids get to measure, mix, and decorate, which helps with motor skills and following instructions.
Creativity unleashed: From choosing toppings to designing cupcakes, their imaginations run wild.
Teamwork and social skills: Baking together encourages sharing, patience, and cooperation.
Yummy rewards: Nothing beats the joy of eating something you made yourself!
Plus, baking parties are super flexible. Whether you want a cosy gathering at home or a lively event at a cookery school, there’s something for every style and budget.

Let me do all of it for you!
1. Cholsey kitchen
I have all the equipment and know the oven well... we are friends!
2. Pick a Fun Theme
Pizza and cakes are really popular, but you can always choose a themes to add an extra layer of excitement, especially for older children. You could go classic with cupcakes and cookies or get creative with a “decorate your own pizza” party or a “chocolate extravaganza.” Themes help you plan decorations, recipes, and activities that tie everything together.
3. Fun Extras
All children receive my book so they can go away and bake more. Older children sometimes like to have a Bake Off challenge added to the party too. Recipe cards: Give each child a printed recipe card, certificate and stickers to take home. It’s a lovely reminder and encourages them to bake again.

We had a birthday party with Mrs Bun and it was honestly amazing! Everything was organised and provided for and Angie was great with the large group of girls! It was a busy 2 hours but the children all had an absolute blast and left with smiley faces and arms laden with baked goodies 😊 Thank you!
Safety First:
Safety is key when I'm working with kids and kitchens.
Supervision: If they are under 6 years, adults need to be there. Older ones just the adult of the party person.
Clear instructions: I explain each step clearly and demonstrate how to use equipment safely.
Allergy awareness: You will be sent a booking form for any allergies beforehand and avoid cross-contamination.
Clean workspace: I will clean up as we go, just asking the kids to wipe down the table every now and then.
With these in place, you can relax and enjoy the party as much as the kids do!

Mrs Bun hosted my 9 year old's birthday party yesterday. Mrs Bun was amazing. She engaged with the children, explaining what they needed to do so they were able to follow and understand. Mrs Bun made it fun and exciting. My daughter had a great time at the party and said she would love to come back to do more baking. Thanks Mrs Bun. 😊
Happy baking!
